Oh God, me too!!! And when he said that bit about the last time he ran away from Jack, his expression, his tone, everything just killed me. Dead.

Jack's answer, about how he thought so but now he didn't and he shook his head as he looked at the Doctor the entire time. Also fabulous.

Just fantastically brilliant scene in so many little ways.

The whole conversation was just amazing. I was worried that the Doctor/Jack reunion wouldn't live up to our expectations, but it was so well-done, with the distance, and sniping, and cockblocking, and them finally talking -- and yes, the entire scene with Jack in the room is just brilliant. Or rather, fantastic.

All Jack needed to do to refind his will to live was a) see the Doctor and b) get out of Cardiff ;)
