I've been kind-of obsessively watching the same few clips from shows in the last week, normally as a break from/reward for finishing uni stuff.

I've watched the final scenes from Nightshifter (SPN) a number of times (and sometimes the phone conversation between Dean and Henrickson). Plus bits from Parting of the Ways (Ninth Doctor), especially Eccleston's last scene (which makes me teary EVERY SINGLE TIME). But what I'm particularly fixated on is scenes from The Christmas Invasion (Tenth Doctor), after the Doctor wakes up on the Sycorax ship. Tennant just owns it. And the "Witchcraft!" "Timelord" moment kills me, only to be revived by "It's a fightin' hand!". I stop before the end, cause I disagree on some of his actions and it harshes my squee. Oh, and there's been some rewatching of highlights of End of Days (Torchwood) too. And bits and pieces from other things, but I keep coming back to the same moments.

But seriously, I've watched some of those bits half a dozen, a dozen, maybe more, in the last week. They aren't even *new* things to be obsessing over.

Anyone else do this? Am I losing it?

I've had the same Youtube window open that is the extras from the DVD which has Gareth David Lloyd rapping and then talking about his kiss with John Barrowman (and shows an extended scene of the Jack/Ianto kiss) for about, oh, 2 months now. I watch it all the time. So funny and sweet and hot.

Yes, these just happen to be files that are handy on the computer, I don't need to find a disc. I suspect the range of things to obsessively rewatch would be longer if I had them all handy :)

I still want to know if it's apocryphal or not that in one of the takes for when Jack kisses the Ninth Doctor, John and Christopher just went for it and ended up rolling around on the ground.

I love the Christmas Invasion, and yes, he pwns that scene completely. I love when he throws the satsuma and wastes the Sycorax guy, because it shows exactly how Ten differs from Nine, he's that touch more dangerous if you fuck with him.

I've seen that "fighting hand" bit iconned as "wanking hand". I laffed.

I've yet to see the Christmas Invasion with Tenth Doctor because HI! Spidery things and I have a massive spidery phobia. I tried the hiding behind the hands bit. It wasn't enough. lol

I've seen last week's ep and the Confidential and I want more already. lol And YAY because TW is filming again shortly. *twirls*

Oh yes. I watched the very end of End of Days over and over and over for the sake of *ahem* fic research. And Jack's last bit of PotW, even though it turns me into mush every. single. time. And there's scenes in Firefly that I'll throw the DVDs in for the sole purpose of watching them.

So yes. You're definitely not the only one.

Spidery things? That's the Runaway Bride, the Christmas special between S2 and S3. Christmas Invasion is between S1 and S2 :)

Yup, TW will be underway, and the Sarah Jane Adventures already are. So much Who-verse!

I think I love the "Timelord" bit so much because so often the Doctor dodges questions about who/what he is, so it's something so special when he says it outloud, especially like that.

THOSE ARE AWESOME CLIPS. I personally have watched the end of The Parting of the Ways MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT. And I truly thought I could never love anyone as much as I loved Nine, but Ten is just...TEN. His first Christmas invasion fills me with so much delight. "AM. I. GINGER?"
