Peter Jackson has acquired the rights to Naomi Novik's Temeraire series!!!!1!

I'm even more flailing in glee over this than I was over the news that he's producing a new version of the Dam Busters (I've enjoyed several books, the early movie and recent documentaries about the squadron). Totally makes up for the rather average day at work I had.

People I've offered footage too - I've not forgotten! Just been absorbed (ie my brain has been eaten) by some other projects and study, but I will start uploading again this week. Ugh, management accounting test tomorrow, I do not feel ready for this.

My birthday is woozy with sleep deprivation so far, but I've got a Justin CD in my hands (that I'm trying to keep the drool off of, but DAMN those pictures!) that will be in his hands, which will be right in front of me later today--and both my bosses are out of the office! It's lookin' pretty damn good to me so far! ;)
