SGA and SG1
Aug. 20th, 2006 01:12 pmIs it a rule that there's only so much goodness per week, so if one is really good the other is not?
I watched SGA with
iibnf last night, and...*yawn*. Nice to have a Weir-centric episode, I liked her scenes with Jack, and there were some well-done stuff (and after all the great McKay-Sheppard interaction lately I can hardly begrudge fans of Sheppard/Weir), but they took a much-used (especially in sf) plot and did...absolutely nothing new or interesting. Rodney recognising the "look of genius" cause he's seen it in the mirror was great.
Meanwhile, I just watched SG1 200 with my sister.
::Incoherent flailing in glee warning::
LOVE LOVE LOVE SO MUCH LOVE I WANT TO MARRY THIS EPISODE!
Furlings - bastard children of Ewoks and Koalas! Mitchell and Zombies! Teal'c wants a PI show!
Star Trek! Firefly! PUPPETS! Wizard of Oz! FARSCAPE!
S/J shippers get a wedding (and J/D slashers get a shout-out) but it'd "torture the audience". Invisible!Jack. Jack being Mitchell's daddy (or not - though I totally would have gone with Daniel, cause of the resemblance). TeenSoap!Stargate, complete with Daniel worrying that Mitchell doesn't like him anymore.
Siler getting electrocuted, "Why does this always happen to me?"
I want to re-watch this right now, but I must do some work. There was hardly a minute of the episode that I wasn't laughing out loud. So much better than the 100th episode. Must get icons.
