Jessa! I hope you have an awesome day, you rock so hard and in so many ways :)
The Waratahs might have beaten the Cheetahs (world's most unfortunate sporting team name) 26-3, but it was much closer than that for a lot of the game. The extremely long game. It had so many fucking stoppages and breaks and shit, just unbelievable. But yes, they are quick and have very good defense, there weren't any tries until well into the second half, and it was very tense. Sadly, the Cheetahs also indulged in some very unpleasant play at times, and their winger was deservedly sinbinned.
In terms of my football boyfriends, Lote Tuquiri still owns my heart, Wendall Sailor is the guy you occasionally flirt with then wonder what the fuck you were thinking when he does something boneheaded 5 minutes later (run Forrest run! no, not that way!), Peter Hewatt's the nice reliable guy who you just don't have sparks with until HE DOES SOMETHING FUCKING MAGIC, Mat Rogers is the guy you can't stop thinking about when he isn't around, and Daniel Halangahu looked really cute in his cornrows (and played some good rugby too). Adam Freier remains adorably Hobbit-like.
And like three people reading this will know what the fuck I'm talking about (but if you're really curious - NSW Waratah players). Can't wait for the Waratahs vs Crusaders game next weekend, and then the Brumbies the week after at Easter (home game, but not sure if I'll be going).
