Mum: well what did you watch in Canada?
Sister: All I watched was hockey and ski videos.
Mum: what's hoppy? (or something, I don't know how she misheard it).
Dad and Sister: Hockey!
Sister: You know, hockey! Stanley Cup! Ice hockey.
Mum: ah! What about that one with the curling irons?

Dad and I collapse in hysterics in the kitchen
