Oct. 1st, 2005 11:16 amHappy (slightly belated) Birthday and Serenity Day,
raynedanser! Happy Birthday,
ukcalico!
I really am a bit slow at times. I got a flyer about my school reunion a fortnight or so ago, but I've been having problems remembering the date (when I thought about it, which isn't much, as I have mixed feelings about it *g*). I checked the flyer again last night and it finally clicked why I was having problems remembering - Friday October 18th isn't a real date this year. I've emailed the organiser, but really, as our year goes (and our attempted reunions), this is pretty much par for the course.
You know, I hope one of the videos for I Still or Crawling Back To You (I'm assuming they'll make one) has Howie drinking tea. From Millenium, the Show Me The Meaning video has it, and from Black and Blue, The Call (tea of dooooooooom!) It'd be a shame to break the trend.
Club rugby grand final this afternoon. C'mon Eastwood (though Uni beat them convincingly two weeks ago, so my hopes aren't strong)! I'd like one team I support to make it this year (NSW almost did, but Wallabies were never in it).
We now have divx capable dvd player. Thank you to everyone who offered recommendations - I went with the Pioneer DV-383 as it was available from JB Hifi for a nice price and the Pioneer we have has been so reliable. I've only come across 2 avi files it hasn't been able to play properly, Moebius parts 1 and 2. The audio is very out of synch and the video is weird too, it might be the frame rate or something? I'm gonna try re-encoding them and see how they go.
I really should get back to my study before the rugby. Bah.
