February 2000 - Howie and Brian rehearsing for Backstreet's performance at the Grammys.

9 September 2002 - Kevin at release party for Eve's cd "Eve-olution".

3 September 2003 - Howie at Latin Grammys in Miami.

2 May 2003 - Chris and Tara Reid at Stuff Magazine's Crown Royal Kentucky Derby Eve Party. I don't recall seeing these pictures before, and for some reason, the thought of the conversations these two could have had just cracks me up *g*.

29 July 2003 - Howie at charity tennis match at 77th Annual Mercedes Benz Cup in LA.

24 April 2002 - Howie at Democratic National Committee's "A Night at the Apollo" voter registration drive & fund-raiser at The Apollo Theater in New York City. I thought Howie always got stuck being the token Republican in Backstreet, in fanon anyway?

To be continued...

That's strange, because I've always remembered him being a Democrat. There was this one interview before the 2000 elections where AJ and Kevin said they were rooting for Gore, and I vaguely remember Howie being a Democrat as well. Brian's the only confirmed Republican out of the lot, I think, and it's very likely that Nicky switched camps.

But guh. Glasses. Mmmmm. I have had my kink for the day. :D

I thought there was something about him voting for Bush at 2000? Is Brian definitely a Republican? I can't keep up - people used to claim Lance as a Republican too, until he was seen sporting a Kerry badge last year.

I'm not sure of Howie, but if I remember correctly, AJ and Kevin voted for Gore and Brian and someone else voted for Bush. Course, this was that same interview where AJ opened his big mouth and said that he would move to Canada if Bush won. ;) And I don't know. I have a feeling that they very well could have switched camps after Bush's first term. *shrugs*

Howie in glasses! I love that almost as much as I loved him with straight hair.
But not as much as I love Howie and his chest hairs! *thud*

You're going to kill me one day by putting Kevin and Chris pictures so close.

Thank you so much for that!

I vaguely recall something about how Nick voted Republican in 2000 because Howie did. But I could be wrong :)

also, thank you for the pictures! Kevin and Howie and Brian, oh my. And Chris in glasses. yum.

I don't recall who voted for whom but I 'm sure that all five voted and that alone makes me happy.

Howie is always gorgeous but he looks extra yummy in glasses.

Having the third picture of Kevin open next to this one of Nick is amusing me far too much.

Shouldn't Howie be a Democrat by default because for him, being Republican is like shooting himself in the foot? ;)

And eeeeeeee! Howie in glasses! Mmmmmmm, pretty pretty itty-bitty Howie. :D

and for some reason, the thought of the conversations these two could have had just cracks me up *g*.

For some reason, the idea of Chris and Tara being in the same place at the same time cracks *me* up.

No, Howie and Nick both voted for Bush in 2000. There was an interview where they were specifically asked who they voted for, and Howie and Nick said Bush, Kevin and AJ said Gore, and Brian would only cop to actually having voted (smart Boy! I want him to be a Libertarian :). It's fun to think of the gloating fits/fights that went on in the group post-election.

He looks so good in those pictures where he's wearing glasses that I'm surprised he can walk around without being molested by anyone who sees him ;)

That's it! I knew there was something around the 2000 election. So now the question is, has Howie switched teams or can he just not resist a party? *g*

It's a very good thing, isn't it *g*.

Heh, don't ask about Nick's voting in 2004, that wouldn't make you happy.

And he looks so good in glasses! He should wear them more often *g*.

Yes, Lucy reminded me up the page a bit that in 2000, Kevin and AJ voted Dem, Howie and Nick voted Republican and Brian voted but decided not to piss anyone off (ie didn't say who he voted for, smart boy *g*).

I think for 2004, Nick said he didn't vote (when he and AJ were in Rome), but I think he said he would have voted for Kerry if he had. My theory was that Howie kept him distracted (tied to the bed) all day and Nick didn't get a chance to vote, but if Howie's showing up at Democratic Party events, that doesn't work ;)

He definitely should wear them more often, and Chris and Tara are surprisingly cute together *g*.

Some people's faces are just meant to have glasses on them. I think Howie actually looks better WITH them. And Chris. And JC. And Nick. Do we see a pattern here? *sigh*

Hmmmm

Maybe Howie was on a supply run, made a detour and then returned to Nick (still tied up)?

I'm trying to help here! ;-)

Mmmmm, Howie and Chris (and JC too!) should wear glasses far more often *g*.

Chris and Tara is inherently funny. Then I think about them talking about JC, and I'm really amused ;)

Shouldn't Howie be a Democrat by default because for him, being Republican is like shooting himself in the foot? ;)

You'd think so, and people said the same thing about Lance when it was generally accepted he was Republican. Hopefully Howie has come around too *g*.

You'd think so, and people said the same thing about Lance when it was generally accepted he was Republican.

Well, we all thought Lance would be Republican because he's from the South but then, we all saw how bright and sparkly his flame shone, and discarded *that* thought. ;)

There's a reason there are picture archives devoted to glasses shots, you're certainly not the only one who feels that way about the guys in glasses *g*.

From: [identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com
Maybe Howie had switched to voting Democrat, and didn't realise Nick had as well. So yeah, he went out and voted, but didn't untie/wake up Nick *g*.

Date: 2005-03-07 06:48 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com
You'd think that would be enough, but there are people who totally believed Lance was Republican until he was seen at the Kerry fundraiser(s) last year *g*.
