What I did on my enforced vacation from lj

Apart from trying to get some ficlets done, I watched a bunch of Veronica Mars and Lost. I hadn't been in the mood for a while, and got a couple of eps behind. I'm now all caught up on VM and am watching the most recent ep of Lost at the moment.


I'm so sorry hnix, but I think I'm in love with Logan. Don't hate me! As well as Weevil of course, and I continue to like Duncan a lot. I like Wallace as well, naturally. None of them as much as I ::heart:: Veronica though. Mac is also cute, and I liked how that storyline was handled.

The Christmas ep was so good. I almost died from sheer delight during it, and then the ending was so good. Though why they didn't figure out who the stalker was sooner baffled me.

Lost continues to be good. Though Shannon and Boone are totally couch shopping.

OMG! I just finished the episode! They didn't just shop for couches together, they bought the whole damn living room suite! And I'm not a big fan of incest, but I kinda found the whole step-sibling thing a bit unnecessary. So is this what everyone was WTF?-ing about during the week?

I kept thinking the "rescuing Shannon" was going to be an hallucination, but when he found her dead I started to believe they'd really killed her. Glad they didn't. Locke continues to be deeply fascinating.

I was totally believe she was dead, but then the bastards had me convinced for about 2 or 3 seconds that they'd actually killed Charlie, so maybe I shouldn't be so gullible anymore. heh.

But yeah I'm glad she wasn't too. And I think I was more surprised by the step thing than Boone's crush. The subtext wasn't exactly subtle, but it might have been more interesting if they were half or full siblings. But at 7 pm on a family station owned by Disney, that's entirely too much to ask for. *g*

Sadly, I was spoilt for Charlie not-dying (though not on the circumstances, so the whole Ethan thing and Claire being kidnapped was just whoa!) through lots of uncut posts after it aired :(

Yeah, I guess we shouldn't expect too much from them, after all ;) Though some more real Australian accents would be nice, they started off well with Kate's farmer, but in later episodes the bit players have been killing me.

Logan! OMG, there ARE people on my flist who watch (and love) Veronica Mars! I've been *craving* babbling buddies!

And Logan! He and Weevil are my favourite - I haven't decided who gets the top spot *snickers* but the recapper guy on Television Without Pity (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/show.cgi?show=139) thinks uhh... never mind. ;)

I should remember to check TWoP more often, that recap of the Christmas ep was fantastic *g*.

I love Veronica Mars, but I'm not always up to date with it. I couldn't stand Logan at first, but have grown to love him. Weevil I loved straight away, if only for his name *g*.

I think the idea was to dislike Logan at first. The recapper guy *hated* him in the first couple of eps. And oh! You can sign up for recap notifications and that way, you'll get email reminders when a new recap's up. Couch Baron is fabulous, if only for his appreciation of fine male flesh. ;)

My favourite episode was when Logan and Weevil got detention and were painting this wall when Logan noticed Weevil's tattoo on his *side* though the dialogue said 'arm' (which was confusing in a WTF??? way) but! There was boy!touching! *squee*
