Gonzo/Rizzo are my OTP!
Dec. 21st, 2004 08:54 pmBeen watching A Muppet Christmas Carol on Disney, god that movie cracks me up. I knew you weren't cut out for literature. No cheeses for us mices! Though the cuddling policeman and prisoner during the "Make it Last all Year" song is a bit suggestive, since they're singing about loving your fellowman, but I suspect not in the way I was sniggering about.
There hasn't been much personal content in this here lj lately. There hasn't been anything interesting to say, trust me. And the stuff bubbling around in my brain isn't fit to be aired here - just me whining pathetically about stuff that is my own fault, especially my social anxiety issues blah blah blah, and work situation wah wah wah. Oh, and I think dad installed Service Pack 2 on this computer today, which I'd deliberately not done.
But just to get a real life anecdote in here: we were stalled at work this afternoon, waiting for someone to get out of a meeting and do something for us, so we could continue. So B, R and I are sitting around gossiping ie drooling over a JB Hi Fi catalogue and talking about things we wanted, particularly mp3 players. Both of them are big fans of the Sony rather than ipods. This entertained us for so long that I commented on how we were all total gadget whores. They looked completely unoffended.
And sorry to disappoint those who thought that Howie/Nick finishing off the pairing picspam meant the end of picspam. Nuh huh, it's still far easier than coming up with real content :)
Instead, tonight we have random non-pop picspam!

5 pictures that randomly appealed to me. Do not look for any logical connections :)

Date: 2004-12-21 10:13 am (UTC)I know nothing I can say can make you feel better about stuff like that (been there, done that), so ~hugs~ to you.
What are you doing over the new year? I am off work until the 17th (unless I get the new job and have to start) so, while I can't make concrete plans, I'd love to see you. It's been way too long.

Date: 2004-12-21 08:40 pm (UTC)I'd love to get together, though I've only got the public holidays off, I'm working between Christmas and New Year, and the week after New Year (at least). But yes, doing something would be good :)

Date: 2004-12-22 01:41 am (UTC)Peter Wingfield = Methos, definitely. Watching him in SG or other things can be a bit confusing *g*.
