world's most boring post

I got contacts on Wednesday, I've never worn them before. I am already seeing progress at getting them in and out, but that isn't hard, as I sucked like whoa to begin with. Also got new glasses frames, which are very swish.

I have been produtive today - gym, checked out 4 units (one of which I would buy in a heartbeat if it wasn't on the highway, but I wouldn't be able to afford it in that case, alas), dropped a present around for a cousin's baby who is 1 (and got a cuddle), then came home and found another cousin and his fiancee here. And it turns out the fiancee and I work in the same building, but haven't bumped into each other in the 10 months I've been at that job, heh. And the washing is now on the line too.

Now I'm contemplating what to do with the rest of the weekend, I am plan-free (how lame of me). I would totally start on a mini-marathon of X-Men and X2 and/or the 90s X-Men animated series (I've got 2 1/2 seasons of it) but there's rugby on later so I'll get overruled for the tv in the evening. There's also two weeks of SPN, Criminal Minds and I need to download NCIS and Bones too.

I could have gone to a co-worker's house warming, but I forgot to fwd the email with all the details to myself at home. Not a big loss though.
