Nov. 18th, 2008 09:20 pmI thought I had gone crazy when I drove into the gym carpark this evening.
Directly in front of me was a silver car of the same make as mine, with a number plate almost exactly the same (and, as it turns out, from the same dealer - we must have got them the same day). Seriously, first 5 characters of the plate were the same (eg ABC-12X), and the last letters were only 5 apart. I was so confused, I was thinking "but I'm driving that car...". Once I'd parked, I realised the other car was a different model (next size up, basically), but it was disconcerting. So many people at my gym drive cars like mine or it, one time I was parked in a row of four of them altogether. I am not a unique and precious snowflake.
