(no subject)

Good lord, from all the posts I'm reading, I'm not sure I even want to have the VMAs on as background noise while I try and get some study done tonight.

Work today = SO BORING. I'm checking an index, and have done 1 page (out of 5 and a bit) in a couple of hours. It's so slow and tedious.

16 days til Fall Out Boy concert! 17 days til I fly to NZ for Get/Together! Gotta keep the good things in mind today, I need all the motivation I can get.

VMAs

I didn't sleep well last night, and when I was awake at around 3am, I realised: where's the story where, after a particularly extended bender, Gabe and William wake up married? I can't believe it doesn't exist!

This is possibly why, during the VMAs (oh yes, I gave in and watched), I was contemplating that it was sad that Nevada doesn't have same-sex marriage - Justin and Timbaland could have made their love official while they were there *g*. And I'm loving Justin's hair at the moment, and his crusade to get MTV to play music again (nice try, but as if).

I knew I'd be able to get the good bits that interested me online, but I figured it sounded like there were enough to make the painful parts endurable. Was Sarah Silverman given instructions to suck as much as possible, in an attempt to make Britney's debacle seem less bad by contrast? Cause it kind of worked a bit. And it's nice to know that I can go on hating Jamie Foxx, with renewed justification. What an ass!

And with Fall Out Boy, Panic, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship and William (were the rest of TAI there?) all at the party, there's gonna be lots and lots of porn written, right? And in the long run, isn't that more important than who won or lost (except for where they won \o/)?
