Fun fact for the day: If you search for Torchwood at Amazon US, it brings up Dr Who...and Oz.

Even more fun fact: DeepDiscount.com is having a 20% off all dvds sale (and their prices are often lower or similar to Amazon anyway, and they have very good shipping rates - I think if you're in the US, with this sale it is free shipping). Just use the code SUPERSALE. They also have books, cds, posters, games etc but they don't have the 20% off.

I'm still pondering what I want, but with the pretty good exchange rate at the moment, a lot is tempting me (since it's 20% off and just under 20% back on for the exchange, prices for Aussies work out as just a little less than the listed price).

One thing I'm not alone in ordering is Doctor Who: Complete First and Second Seasons. It's already listed as being on backorder, as it's only $125 (and I've never seen a single season available for under $80-90). And Mag7 S2 is only $20, mmmm.

Christina saves the day!

Or rather, I saved the wedding with Christina!

To explain, before dinner I had to make a mercy dash to a wedding reception that my sister is attending (friend of her's from school that we've known for twenty years). Because apparently "Candyman" by Ms Aguilera just had to be on the post-bridal waltz playlist, but somehow the dj (or whoever was in charge of the music) did not have it with them. They'd canvassed all the guests, but no one had the cd in the car, and my sister knew I had it. Fortunately, it was only about a 15-20 minute drive.

And I got to check out the bride's dress (she looked lovely) and say hi. I'd planned on going along for the service, but haven't gotten nearly enough study done this weekend so had skipped it.

Maybe I'll be more inspired to finish these stupid tutorial questions if I remind myself that this is the LAST GROUP WORK I HAVE TO DO WITH THIS FUCKING USELESS AGGRAVATING GROUP!!!!
