VideoStudio - the saga continues
Jan. 15th, 2007 07:57 pmA-ha!
OK, I may now be able to use VideoStudio. I did a fair bit of reading on the Ulead forums, but in the end it was just some trial and error. The main conflict seemed to be with divx, so I've uninstalled and did a bare-minimum reinstall, and it seems to be much happier now.
Of course, this did stop VirtualDub working for a while (cue "ahhhhhh fuck! I can live without VideoStudio but not VirtualDub!!!!"), but I installed an XVID codec (which I've never needed to do before) and it is working again too. Phew.
The moral of this story is...I don't know what the fuck I'm doing, but sometimes I get lucky.
