new computer glee

First post from shiny new computer!

And I'm falling deeply in love with the shiny new 19 inch monitor, though settings still need to be tweaked.

Of course, now we've got to get all the files off the old computer, and I have a *long* list of programs and utilities to install, many of which I'm not sure I have the installation files handy (ooops).

ftp programs

This is a really bad time to be posting about things like this (given that everyone is so busy and LJ is pretty quiet), but...

Does anyone have any recs for a good FTP program that I don't have to pay for? I've been using WS_FTP for ages, but since I'm on a download/install frenzy for the new computer, I thought I should seek recs.
