iibnf and I spent the day with the Dread Pirate bluecrane, including setting a very bad example for her kids *g*. And her mother gave me a gorgeous scarf she'd made :) Then we met up with edgehd and I finally tried out Max Brenner's Chocolate Cafe (mmmmm). Then I picked up veronamay, and we proceeded to spend the next day eating, drinking and watching a fuckload of Gilmore Girls, Dark Alec and various other goodies.
I was so not in the mood to go out to dinner with my family last night, and while the food was good, the restaurant was over-crowded, and this meant the waiters were constantly bumping my chair as they went past. My teeth were on edge the entire time, just so freaking irritating. That sounds petty, but some of these were pretty serious kicks and shoves against the chair, I'd move an inch or two at times. I just wanted to be home, watching Jensen being too pretty for words.
So I've spent part of today doing that, in amongst ironing, gardening and washing the car (which was filthy from my dad driving it while I took their car away! Most unfair).
Random DA thought - Max and Alec don't really have that sort of chemistry, but if they really were made to be breeding partners, those children would have been beyond gorgeous.
