erilyn: gabe and mikey's hips (pink2)
As mentioned previously, [livejournal.com profile] alasen, [livejournal.com profile] eponymous, [livejournal.com profile] sinden, [livejournal.com profile] hnix, [livejournal.com profile] engenda and I were very lucky and saw Pink perform at the Metro last night. The Metro is a great club venue, fits about 1200 people. We ended up apart, with [livejournal.com profile] alasen, [livejournal.com profile] eponymous and I in the seats which are set up a bit, to the left of the stage. It was an amazing show, she went non-stop for about 80-90 minutes. 8 songs from the new album, and some from all her others, plus a great rendition of 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up" (which had the entire crowd singing along). Pink was bouncy and seemed to be having a great time, chatted and interacted with the crowd a fair bit. The crowd was quite a mix of people and ages (though unfortunately we got some obnoxious ones, who chainsmoked during the concert - it's a non-smoking venue *sigh*). Though I did feel a little out of place, not having a same-sex partner with me. Though [livejournal.com profile] hnix and I are [livejournal.com profile] sinden's prison bitches (could someone remind me of the context?)

[livejournal.com profile] alasen and I took some photos, first two are hers, others are mine (I think).

I got some pro photos (Getty, I think) that were posted at the forums at www.pinkspage.com (mostly there are different shots in the different groups)
+ medium quality - 1.1 meg, 15 pictures
+ high quality - 21 meg, 12 pictures
example )

Most of these are only parts of the songs, and a couple are two clips from a song joined together. Quality wise, they're watchable and you can hear her singing, but they aren't brilliant.
