Atlantis 2x03 "Runner"

Sorry, but anyone who downloaded MTV Presents BSB that I posted yesterday, you're going to want to re-download part 3, I fucked up. And I was out bowling and having dinner so I didn't see the problem and fix it until today.

Speaking of bowling, somehow I won the first game. Got a strike the first bowl, and a spare on the next frame, it was so unlike me! Fortunately, I went back to my normal mediocrity in the second and third games, it was kind of creepy. The bowling alley has the best video jukebox ever! The screen is at the end of the alley, and the videos also show on any unused monitors. Expensive, but how could we resist when they weren't only up to date enough to have Incomplete (as well as other BSB and Nsync), but they had Plug It In, ADIDAS and even Help Me! Don't know what the parents of the various groups of small children thought of some of those videos, let alone Toxic and Dirrty, but the kids got an education. And I got to babble a lot about Challenge over dinner :)

Ok, what to do first - last night's Dr Who or the McKay eps of SG1 that sinden burnt for me? Damn being back at school, I better do some study first. And I need to make an SGA icon, but am lacking in ideas.

Stargate

My sister and I kind of binged on Stargate today. First we watched Atlantis from this week, then we worked through the McKay and Atlantis related eps of SG that sinden burnt for me. All five of them (48 Hours, Redemption I and II, and Lost City I and II).

And now I'm wanting to catch up on the last 3 or so seasons of SG (I stopped watching regularly even before Daniel left (not just because he left, I just lost interest generall), have only seen a few eps here and there since). And I so don't have time for that at the moment *g*.

Plus, I have no recollection of McKay from 48 Hours at all. In fact, I have no recollection of that episode, apart from the pathetically stupid way they got rid of Tanith at the beginning of the episode. I'm sure I must have watched it, but it didn't seem familiar at all. And bouncy, earnest, floppy haired McKay is so adorable I just want to keep him in my pocket and pet him and feed him treats.

Jonas is so much more appealing (in Redemption I and II) than I remember from the bits I saw with him. Is it wrong that I'd read McKay/Jonas slash? And McKay's line "Anubis, this is your agent, you're playing it way over the top, can you get serious please?" nearly killed us both.

Maybourne! Oh, Harry, I'd forgotten how much I loved you.

We were curious about the change in actresses playing Weir? Was she unavailable/uninterested or did they just prefer Torri Higginson?

Also, is there anyone coming to "Serenity" tomorrow night that could burn me the first two and last two eps of S8 of Stargate, New Order and Moebius? Or all of S8, if that's worth seeing, as I'm already asking for 20% of the season? *g*
