BSB.com (she's involved with the official website, seems legit from previous stuff) posted this thread at LiveDaily:

just wanted to give you all the heads up...
There will be tickets available for all of the shows starting Wednesday on BackstreetBoys.com. Make sure you are signed up for our online mailing list and you will be receiving an email with all of the details.
Also, if you pre-register for the fan club when you purchase your tickets you will receive a special gift from the Boys at the end of the tour. (The gift is only limited to the first 200 people)
.

People got a bit snarky about what the gift would be, she replied:
It's not a key chain!!!! It's an autographed tour picture... with real autographs. (none of that presigned stuff)
We don't have any dates out of the US right now... only the Tsunami concert in March. (Details are posted on the website now)
I'm counting down the days till the moment we can all chat online at our fan club!!

Dude, just because you're talking to the teenies doesn't mean you should abuse the exclamation mark.

Another reply from her:
Backstreet will have dates out of the US soon. This short leg of club shows just happens to be in the US. Don't worry though we aren't going to forget all of you wonderful fans outside of the states. Just be patient for a little longer and we'll have lots in store for you.
As far as the fan club goes. It's an international fan club and I'm going to do my best to make sure that EVERYONE is happy with it. Not just fans in one particular country. It's going to be a hard job but you guys have a special way of kicking my butt. (I.e. the thread link that Tian sent me)
I'm not sure about the time the tickets will go on sale. All of that information will be sent to you via email. (If you're on the official list)

And:
Pre-Registration for the fan club is $25 for the year. If you pre-register your year will officially start on the launch date.

That's all from her, the other 11 pages are people asking questions (some reasonable, many not) and lots of whining aka a normal day at LD.

And according to other threads at LD, the concerts are reappearing on Ticketmaster. Still no word about an announcement on TRL.

I had a lovely afternoon with [livejournal.com profile] girl_clone, [livejournal.com profile] iibnf and [livejournal.com profile] edgehd at the LOTR exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum. The detail on the costumes, props, sword, armour and jewellery was just beautiful and fascinating to see. The care they took, the details they fussed over in making these movies just blows my mind.

Then we just sat around and chatted for ages, especially over Sims, and continued on during the trainride home. There was one woman who was just fascinated by our conversation, and we kept catching her staring. Maybe it was the repeated mentions of "alien ass babies" that caught her attention? *g*

Stumbled across a thread about L.M.Montgomery's books at Fametracker, and discovered some fascinating things. Yay, everyone else considers the third Anne miniseries a travesty too (ok, that's pretty much a gimmee, considering it's totally contradictory to the books - and yes, I've made that judgement without seeing it *g*). But there was a movie made of Jane of Lantern Hill, with a pretty good cast? Must try and track that down. But I never want to see anything to do with this series made of the Emily books. I mean, they kill Aunt Elizabeth! Get Aunt Laura addicted to laudanum! Cousin Jimmy gets struck by lightening and becomes a genius! WTFPOLARBEAR?

On a more positive note, there's seems to be more collections of her short stories from magazines that we don't have yet, and everyone was raving about The Blue Castle, which I haven't read. More things to track down :) I loved the Anne series growing up (I still get teary when I re-read Rilla of Ingleside), and Emily too (though they were more frustrating in many ways), and over the years we've gotten more of the books, like the Pat books (anyone else think she has obsessive-compulsive disorder?) and A Tangled Web, which is wondeful and I just adore it.

I read a Emily/Ilsa story somewhere a year or two back, it was short but good.
