My folder of pictures for these two was unbelivably disorganised - I don't think I've managed to get rid of all the duplicates, even after spending a while going through it.

Bitching, moaning but Chris!

The day got off to an annoying start when I picked up the wrong book for my reading on the train. I took the book I just finished re-reading, rather than the sequel I'd just started. While having a break at work, I read the letters page, and rolled my eyes in disgust at one letter re: gay marriage/union issues in Canada and NZ (the other two were better). Then I realised that the letter was written by...someone I know (who is excessively religious and a compulsive writer of letters to papers). Oh joy.

On the way home, I drove through one of the incredibly heavy spots of rain and hail (small hail, thankfully, not the golfball sized stuff they're getting down south), and then through some water across the highway that was almost over the wheels!

Plus, I noticed this morning that they're keeping up with the Christmas tradition of having no trains on my line between Christmas and New Year. I'm working between Christmas and New Year (the non-public holiday days) this year *headdesk*.

This is a far better thing - a snippet of Chris singing the National Anthem at the football game (or wherever the hell he was. Like I know American sports *g*).
