I look back over this journal, and lately it's been all fandom (and only one fandom at that, really) and nothing personal. Not sure why, things are ok, work's been alternating between interesting and "draining my will to live" (as observed by co-worker today), there have been some nice social occasions, I've read some good books, blah blah blah, but nothing has moved me to post. This has always been a mix of fandom and non-fannish stuff, and I'm sure I'll get back to that, sooner or later :) Just in time to annoy anyone who's friended me for the fannish stuff, and too late to stop annoying those who wish I'd just shut the fuck up about those fucking boybands *g*.

Of course, this will be right around the time that I actually get the fuck over myself and my social phobias, and the LRM album actually comes out. In other words, your guess is as good as mine ;)

In other news, I only discovered that we have a long weekend coming up at work the other day. I'd completely forgotten about it, possibly as I'm in denial about it almost being October already.

And now I'm just rambling. I'm about half way through cesperenza's new F/K story. I'm uploading more clips of you-know-who. I'm eating chocolate montes (mmmm), had a fantastic hamburger for dinner (no one makes them like my mum does) and treated myself to a delicious kebab for lunch. I'm re-reading Lynn Flewelling's books (I heart Alec and Seregil!!!). I keep having Anastasia's song Left Outside Alone stuck in my head, and when it's not that, it's Beautiful Woman.

Yay for the long weekend, except boo because it's not a long weekend in Victoria and guess who gets to go down there and work?

But I guess I get enough days off, so I can't complain too much about having to work occasionally.

I've got PAL videos (including some Sentinel) and dvds I could bring over, and that way we don't have my family around *g*. I could pick up some pizza or something on the way. Which ever you prefer (hahahaha, you have to make the decision ;p).

You can come over here, then - it will give me a reason to clean the house - so long as you promise not to peek into cupboards/rooms where I stash things and close the door ;)

There's a parking area on the side of my flat - the driveway on the other side from where you usually pull in, and I can come down and meet you there if you like.
