Hosting and China

I've texted joeyvanne a couple of times. The move went ok, and work started well yesterday. She'll still not be back online for a little bit though, and is suffering lj withdrawal I think.

I'm interested in Hasweb's Average webhosting plan, and I'd appreciate any suggestions people have, especially if you use (or have used) Hasweb. Then I'll have to bug y'all for ideas for a domain name :)

Fandom is just amazing. And possibly a little scary. Not all the Boys have even arrived in China yet, but pictures of video of Howie and Nick arriving in Beijing are online. Not that I have a theory about why they arrived a day before the others or anything *coughcough* ;)

Warning: if I had shame, I'd probably not share this, as it is mostly just video of Nick, Howie, bodyguards etc. at the airport and hotel dealing with (sometimes screaming and not well behaved) fans. But shame died a long time ago. Had some problems with the files too, hopefully they're ok now.

Work sucked. And that's twice in two days I've come home feeling nauseated (I'm okay now). I have late-afternoon-and-evening sickness.

pierson and I have Infinite Passions (http://www.infinitepassions.com) hosted with Hasweb -- we have the business plan, only because we wanted one we could pay on monthly *g* I haven't had any problems with them, other than a few bouts of downtime during the last couple of hurricanes--their home office is in Orlando, FL (they're actually a sub-company of HostDime.com). chased_amy also has her stuff hosted there, as well as fuskeez -- you might check with them as well, about their service. I know Candy's had some problems...but I can honestly say they've been nothing but good to me, and very quick to solve the few problems I did have come up, when I was initially transferring my domain to them.

I second this. sweeteyedelight is hosted with them, and I've only had the occasional downtime -- there was a problem with them not automatically sending me my new connection info when they moved my account to another server, but I've had a minimum of problems. allen_sama has nsyncgallery.org there, and she's had some problems, but overall, I think she's happy with them too. good luck :)

Huh, I just downloaded them, and I can't play them either, but the other copies I have of them are fine. I'll try reuploading, but I'm about to go to bed, so I'll repost links in the morning.
