Well, shit
May. 3rd, 2004 08:38 pmA month or so ago, I bought three tshirts off ebay. 1 from an Aussie seller, which I promptly received, and was very happy with the transaction all around (though the tshirt is a brighter yellow than I was expecting). 2 from US sellers, both with good feedback. One is still enroute, coming via slow post. Other, they claim, is coming via airmail and should have been here already, and communication from them is erratic. I double check their feedback, and in the last month, there's a swag of complaints about people receiving items very late, or not at all. Doubt I'll ever see mine then. Bugger, didn't expect a seller with 4500 feedbacks to suddenly go down the toilet.
And I got neutral feedback from person I left it from, claiming something about why postage was so high, and in their reply to my feedback, claimed they offered an exchange. Bullshit.
On the other hand, just had a lovely transaction with an Aussie seller, won the bid Wed, paid by direct deposit Thurs, she posted it Fri, I got it today, it was better than I expected and was packaged really really well. Slightly restored my love of ebay.
Gotta go send another email to my looking-very-suspect seller. Should I mention that I've seen all the angry feedback, and start to get threatening about taking this up with ebay?
