erilynSo, wasn't feeling up to going to the game this afternoon (Waratah's last home game this season, and the first afternoon game in years, so yeah, sucky), hence, I'm curled up in front of computer, quilt around me, watching footage and clearing stuff off the computer.

From 1997? Nick appears to be dancing in gumboots at one point. Awww, but in a different bit, he's bouncing around on stage, and his hair is so shiny and fluffy, it looks like a shampoo commerical *g*. Kevin, sweetie, just say no to overalls, mkay? Hey, Asis-Pacific my ass, there's no Australian footage (and Howie even mentions that they're visiting Australia too, so does that make is 96?)

I had no idea what this was when I downloaded it. It appears to be a sort of British Good News Weekend style program. Nick is very very pretty. And earnest. And denies wanting to go down on "homies". And looks kind of bemused the entire time. Actually, this is totally GNW-esque, but they seem to get even less things in per ep than even GNW did. And the running gag? Not funny. hnix, there's a Linda Perry reference (sort of). Good god, Nick is illegally pretty. I wanna eat him up with a spoon. Or possibly bear his children.

Howie on the same stage as Siegfried and Roy. Insert joke and my snickers here. Has Wayne Newton been pickled? TIPY playing as BSB accept the award for Show Me The Meaning never stops being funny. Ever. You were all getting your groove on backstage, Howie? Shouldn't you save that for after the show? Damn, I'd forgotten how much I hate award show banter. The way Kevin says Nsync makes me laugh, however.

Yeah, BRATZ as in the dolls. What the fuck? Did the makers of this have some really incriminating footage of Howie and multiple members of O-Town? The performing doll-look-alikes are really creepy, thankfully no Howie in those parts. Made mostly for Japan, I'm guessing?

A cartoon dancing skeleton has been added. ooo-kay. Actually, two have been. Giant ones. And they don't dance as much as sway. And no, that's not cold medication talking. I do need some paracetamol though. And why is that girl holding a "Brian do U feel like a corncab" sign? The editing on this is really odd and jerky. Oh, now you sustain a closeup, on Howie looking like he just escaped from the short bus. Thanks. The skeletons seemed to have gone away though.

Sound quality is bad. Did AJ just do some sideways moonwalking? What was the move that Nick just did on "Am I sexual", was he trying to shimmy his non-existent breasts? I'm gonna assume that it was the sound on this file that just went out of synch, and not that the guys are lipsynching really really badly. You know what never gets old, watching Everybody performed? Bum dancing. Sadly, they don't do that here, but the alternate choreography more than makes up for it. I particularly like when the other 4 prowl around Nick like big cats, or something. And the weird Howie and Brian colliding thing, which looked choreographed, but...

I must upload and share this, I think it's the longest, clearest clip I've seen from the original Drowning video. Which doesn't mean I didn't already have it somewhere, knowing my memory. Cheesy, oh yeah, but fun.
