My parents took the cat to the vet today for a checkup, and the vet found a lump on her abdomen. Fairly shallow apparently, they're gonna excise it on Monday, but we won't know til then what it is or the implications.

In other news, I had the sudden brainwave today that I'd like a copy of Trivial Pursuit, as the one we have (had?) is a kids edition dating from the early 80s. Glanced around online and the rec retail price seems to be about $80! Not so interested now...

We had the same junior edistion of Trivial Pursuit and I think(I was quite young) that it was very much on the pricey side even then...I wonder if our old copy is still at my mums? I totally kicked arse all over the junior edition!

I'm worried, but I'm trying to be optimistic that she'll be ok. She's not a young puss anymore though.

Thanks, I shall keep the TP offer in mind, as unless I find it significantly cheaper than that, I'm not rushing out to buy it *g*.

I had the same thought about TP recently, but my interest faded with the price. I still covet the rumoured pop-culture version though.
