Birthday present ordered!

Thanks to sinbrat bringing this to my attention, I have just ordered the complete series of The Professionals on dvd, for about $110!!!! It's available with a big discount from amazon.co.uk - and actually cost me less than the listed price (I presume o/s sales are VAT exempt), only 42.54 pounds (plus postage). Normally, it was 130 pounds.

Only recently, I've commented how much I'd love to get this, but that it was just too expensive. Wheeeeee! And the estimated delivery range ends with my birthday, so hopefully I'll get them in time for it :)

Of course, now I'm gonna get an email from amazon saying that it isn't available anymore or something...crosses fingers and toes

And tomorrow our new tv is being delivered, so I'll be able to watch dvds properly! And where applicable, in gorgeous widescreen!

Another one bites the dust. I look forward to the squeeing in smut chat, it'll be so nice to have another Pros fan to drool and wallow with.

And yes, damn it, that's a really great price. Especially compared to what I paid for each individual set. In fact, I when I saw what they were selling for I almost felt compelled to order because it was such a great deal. How pathetic is that?

You do realise that we've just guarenteed that the pound will plunge in value within the next week, and the Aussie dollar will be worth like 60p ;)

Not pathetic - it's an amazingly good price. I couldn't believe it at first *g*. I've got some eps on tape thanks to calemiri, but I can't wait to have them all on dvd!

I've just been drooling over the Kevin Howie clip that adelate has in her LJ and she said I should thank you for doing it. So here I am *g* Thank you for such a fantastic clip. It's been giving me good thoughts tonight ;)
