Somedays I love fandom

I've been little miss grumpy at times lately re: fandom (mostly just in my head). I'll be wandering across lj, and read something, and just loathe people (collectively and individually), often for fairly minor reasons, and it mostly passes later. Just moronic or nasty stuff making me roll my eyes, nothing specific.

But yesterday, checking lj, and the collective squeeee!!! across the world when they called jchalo in NZ and she got to talk to JC during his radio interview, was just too damn cool. The excitement and happiness was great. And JC knows where NZ is, and knows about vegemite (but doesn't like it) *g*. I really really love fandom again! Let alone the people who post about what happened in the interview, post reports about being there, screen cap the webcam or supply mp3s so everyone else can listen too. Those people rock too.
