Nunfar, do the dance of successful shopping!

Not only did I get a father's day present for dad (dvd of "White Christmas" for $25), and a sports bra for myself, but I got a pair of shoes! For not nearly as much as I normally pay for shoes, from Grace Bros! I can never get into shoes in a dept store! A nice pair of black sandal type things with low heels. Very comfy. Now I want to go see if I can find some others from the same brand (Supersoft by Diana Ferrari) in my size, because I'm in love.

For those of you who haven't heard my ongoing gripe about having very wide short feet with a high instep (and why couldn't I get feet like my mum, who can buy shoes out of those sales bins that they have in department stores, rather than like my dad's), this won't make so much sense. But I'm very very happy!

And in other, vitally important news, I'm over half way through S4 of West Wing. I'd like to beat up whoever thought reviving Josh/Donna awkwardness was a good idea, and I think there was another "Sorkin makes fun of fans" subplot, but I fastforwarded through it completely. The season started off really well, but it's starting to drag a bit now (I'm up to Guns Not Butter).

Ha. I have long, narrow feet. I can't wear Supersofts. I can't wear shoes without backs because they fall off.

Yeah, I don't like shoes without backs, though my sister bought some yesterday that were high enough to not fall off.
