Mmmm, pizza

My sister and I made pizza tonight.

Lebanese bread for bases, topped with tomato paste (with garlic and oregano) and a mix of mozarella and cheddar. And:
artichoke
capsicum
ham
salami
cabanossi
pineapple
mushroom
semidried tomato
spring onion
tomato

Damn good, if I do say so myself. Just waiting for the next ones to be finished.

What are y'all favourite toppings for home-made pizza?

Salami/camembert/cherry tomatoes, and spinach/sundried tomatoes/olives/salami/feta. Mmmm making me hungry.

They do sound *good* (apart from olives, we're not fans *g*). I suspect we go overboard with our range of toppings, we just can't help ourselves!

is it sad I had to think about this? Truth is there is so much good pizza to be had nearby I don't make pizza often at all. Though, in the summer, I love pita pizzas on the grill. For those I like a nice good bbq sauce [bourbon based is the best] with some chicken and red onions or caramelized onions OR good red sauce, fresh tomato, bell peppers [grilled before hand for added yum!] fresh basil and some goat cheese. Some bacon can be crumbled on the top, too.

I do believe I will add pizza to the week's menu though. :-)

Oh, those do sound very very good.

We don't do homemade pizza that often, but we regularly get pizzas from a local gourmet-style place. My favourite has chicken, mushroom, potato and spinach, with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce on top.
