I like dramatic foreplay as much as the next person...

...but I really wish they'd hurry up and have something happen on "Angel".

Got very annoyed when I thought Gunn said he'd never had a friend before, but found out it was never had a Fred before. Even so, stupid line. There was a great line in the TWoP recap about their lack of chemistry putting out nearby fires :)

Love Wesley, even if he should really talk to someone about his worries. Alexis Denishof is making the most of finally being given something meaty to do.

Wishlist for the show:
- Reduce the cast ie get rid of Groo, the baby and Fred.
- Make The Host more neutral again.
- Never. Ever. Try to pair Angel and Cordelia up.
- Get Wes and Gunn's relationship back to where it was at the beginning of the season.
- Do something interesting with Cordy being half-demon.
- Bring back Lindsey for a guest appearance (if they do it well).
- For it to be *good* again.

Yup. Overall, I wasn't too annoyed by this ep, but...meh. Groo and Cordy? *So* don't care. Groo as Angel just made me cringe - that whole plotline was just so trite and obvious, it was painful. Wesley was indeed wonderful, though.

One thing I noticed - the Music of Wacky Hijinks that's playing when Cordy asks Angel to help her have sex (what. EVER.) is nicked from a Buffy ep. Either Doppelgangland or Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, I can't remember which.

(I just re-read this, and I think I'm getting last week's ep and this week's mixed up. Oops. It's all just turning into one long, tedious, baby-infested blur at this point.)

I think so, but the faults they have are so similar that rants are applicable to almost any episode!

If you haven't watched this week's yet, do. Great Wesley stuff.

Handy, that. Hey, if they're not going to bother coming up with anything new on the show, why should we bother coming up with new things to rant about?

No, I have. But...yeah. All a big blur, punctuated by lovely Wes scenes.

The Penrith option is looking better and better for him, poor boy.

The smiting mightily of Gunn's ass option is also looking good, but I think I'm projecting at that point ;)

Mmmm, rough 'n' tough Wes...
