Ten days since last update...I'm not dead! Work + study is kinda making me wish I was, but I'm still around. Just even more boring than usual.

The rugby on Saturday night was AWESOME though. My rugby boyfriend Lachie Turner won the game for the Waratahs with a beautiful length-of-the-field intercept try. It was so fucking close, and I thought Auckland were going to take it from us. And then I ran into an old school friend on the way home from the game. Hadn't seen her in years, then have run into her 3 times in last year - in an Oxford St bookstore, on the way home from a Pink concert with, and now this. I checked, and sadly she's not going to see Lady Gaga, cause I figured that'd be the next logical encounter.

Oh Ricky Martin - gay or straight, out or closeted, you'll always be Miguel the bartender-turned-singer on General Hospital to me. And I thought he was a bit of a pain-in-the-ass, which affected my perception of Ricky Martin when he became huge.

Speaking of soaps...watching OLTL makes me think that Brett and Scott can't have been too shocked to have been axed - their scenes are awful (not their fault). If you didn't know the show and saw the most recent ep, you wouldn't know they were boyfriends.

I want the good old days back, with the Kyle/Fish and Christian/Layla cuteness. "Sit. Watch. Cry."

If we don't get an awesome moment (I've given up hoping for a whole good scene) of Oliver, Kyle and Sierra Mist Nevada Rose in the next two weeks, I'm gonna fly to NY and smack Frank Valentini and Brian Frons around the head :(

I'm willing to put money on us not even seeing Cris and Layla's reactions to Oliver being the daddy, and I suspect Roxy will be too busy with other happenings.

I am so not used to needing fanfic for soap operas. I mean sci-fi, sure, but soaps are supposed to be all about the personal connections

Exactly! Soaps are supposed to have the time and patience to give you all the little interaction and reaction moments that we crave, it's why I have loved them.
