(no subject)

I got a haircut yesterday, and despite friends' kind words last night, I'm afraid it looks terrible >:(

I got a fringe (aka bangs) cut in, which I like, but I don't like the rest of the cut, it's shapeless, and the colour is stripey. And this place has been pretty good in the past.

And my back is still quite sore.

YOU ARE INCORRECT, MA'AM! GOOD NIGHT!

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
WHY CAN'T I HAVE PRETTY PRETTY HAIR LIKE WILLIAM?

[identity profile] hnix.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
SRY2SAY YOU ARE JUST NOT GIRLY ENOUGH.

My internet went kablooey since just after I commented, for no adequately explained reason >:(

also, sadly, I think you're right.

Your hair looks lovely! Although I do understand. I'm not entirely happy with my cut either.

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 09:00 am (UTC)(link)
I could deal better if I was either unhappy with the colour, or unsure about the cut, but the combination is making me very pouty.

I like your hair! What part are you not happy with?

[identity profile] engenda.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 10:34 am (UTC)(link)
I feel like a mushroom! Maybe it's a little too short? I don't know. Something is not quite right.

Your colour is wonderful. I can see what you mean about the highlights, but they're not too stripey and it'll blend better in a few weeks. But I do know what you mean. I've had that. But the cut and colour look really good.

However, yes. Not being happy with your hair is cause for pouting.

I had fun last night! I'm looking forward to the DVD. There needs to be a fangirl gathering to watch it. So we can comment and squee as much as we like.

I like the stripes. But then I like drama. STRIPES OF DRAMA!

I'd like more drama in the rest of it, though, like the stripes to be all the way down and more shape in the back.

Oh, and the fringe is good, too. I'm biased there, as well. FRINGE OF DRAMA STRIPES!

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 08:54 am (UTC)(link)
It's like he spent all his time cutting in the fringe and went "oh whatever" about the rest of the hair.

and yes, if I'm gonna be a caramel lolly, it should be all over. though I'd just prefer to not be the lolly in the first place.

What about the modern take on the asymmetrical bob? Like the red haired girl on BNTM? I think that would look good.

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2009-05-31 09:03 am (UTC)(link)
earlier, I was pondering whether I'd prefer it if it was more of a bob, at least that would be something rather than this nothing-ness. don't know about asymmetricality though.

if my fringe gets too long, I'm gonna look like the pretty girl from America's Next Top Model who got that awful bowl cut where you couldn't see her eyes.

I liked the cut, but she had a lot of trouble managing it. Well, it wasn't really a cut, it was a weave, and it's easy to have shiny, perfect hair when it's sewn in like that.

That sucks that you don't like your haircut. :( Stupid hairdresser!

Having hair you don't like is akin to being dressed by someone whose taste you hate for a month or so. *hugs you*

And I hope your back feels better soon.
