bsb soundcheck parties

The BSB fanclub continue their long tradition for being pretty damn useless - they notified a few Aussie soundcheck winners today, the rest should hear tomorrow. Of course, this wasn't made clear, so when one person popped up on the fanclub saying "I won soundcheck passes!!!", it was practically ::cricket cricket cricket:: as everyone wondered why no one else at WW, LiveDaily or the Aussie mailing list was saying they'd won too.

It sounds like a bit of an upgrade - you're allowed to take photos *and* video (last time video had to be done discreetly), have have a group photo with the guys (and get a signed photo). However, the group photo part to me sound like the practice of letting extra people in to the soundchecks probably won't happen this time around. I could be wrong, but that's my gut feeling on seeing that, given the extra organisation that'll be needed.

Which is a problem if I *do* win, cause I don't want to leave not_nele or indybrat waiting by themself. And if I don't win, which is the more likely outcome, we'll have to see what the reports are from the Brisbane concert as to whether we want to try our luck of going along without passes (it worked last tour).

But the important is - eight days til concert fun! \o/

Great, now you're going to make me worry and worry and WORRY about getting soundcheck passes. I've won them once so that automatically makes me karmically unlikely to win them again. UGH. Plus this time I've only bought one of my tickets through WW.

You are so going to witter about them to me once your concerts are over. I was at the O2 arena today (went for the Tutankhamun exhibition), and the only thing stopping me from going on some sort of rampage with the long queues was a BSB ad near where I was standing.

I WANT TO TOUCH AJ, DAMMIT, I'VE TOUCHED ALL THE OTHER FOUR ALREADY.

Heh, at least wait a week for the concerts so you know what actually happens before worrying :) This is only my guess about what will happen, based on nothing but my gut. And even if they start out stricter, they may loosen up by the time they get to you guys.

Is Friday morning or Saturday morning (your time) better for a concert call? Probably approx about 10am or so (+/- an hour).

I haven't received notification, but the mailing list hasn't erupted so I'm assuming they haven't gone out, still.
