music quest

Does anyone have the Bing Crosby recording (edited: apparently dad specifically wants Bing) of Cole Porter's "Don't Fence Me In"?

I have a John Barrowman version, but it's quite uptempo, and doesn't feel right for the funeral next week.

Thanks.

ETA: Got it and another version too. My friends all rock.

I've got the David Byrne version from Red Hot and Blue. It's also quite up-tempo because it's got lots of twirly drums (like he's accompanied by a marching band). But it might work. I've uploaded it hereif you want to check it out.

thank you, I'm intrigued to hear it, even if we don't use it :)

Okay, I have a copy and have uploaded it here for you: Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters - Don't Fence Me in.

And to really impose - I don't suppose you have Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again", do you?

I don't have it, but give me an hour and I'll see if I can find it for you. It's no imposition at all.

I've found one very, very, slow moving torrent with the song on it. I'm downloading it now, but it'll be a while. I won't know the quality of the track until I have it, so hopefully later tonight I'll be able to upload it for you.
