I'm home safe [livejournal.com profile] veronamay! 55 minutes, door to door. Enjoy Veronica Mars (this is Weevil, he's very pretty).

You know how you can start to sing along to a song (whether out loud or just in your head) before you've actually processed what the song is? Last night, we were leaving the supermarket, and I realise I'm singing along to a BSB song. A recent one. But it's not a single. It's...

The fucking bastards were playing Never Gone. I actually swore outloud. [livejournal.com profile] veronamay laughed at me, and it was funny, in a sick way.

Oh thank God. I had visions of you muttering to yourself in jsquared-ese and being flagged down by a freeway cop for weaving all over the road. *g*

I love my family, but I want to skip dinner and just curl up on the couch and watch more Dark Alec. Rrrrooowwr.

The drive was nice - traffic was fine, no major idiots, and I was singing along loudly to music the whole way *g*.

He's so pretty. I swear he's not human.

Malls around here love Backstreet songs and I always sing along. Sometimes I get asked if I know all the lyrics and I have to admit that I don't know all of them, which means that I'm often a beat or two behind. However, the poor person who asked usually has to listen to at least a couple of minutes of me mooning over the Boys. They shouldn't have asked. ;)

It's totally their own fault. I just felt like my bandpain was being mocked by the supermarket - of all the non-singles to be playing, why were they playing Never Gone? *g*

That happened to me at Coles the other week - it didn't immediatelty click that a)I automatically started singing and b) that it wasn't one of the singles they were playing.

Stupid supermarkets mocking our bandpain with sad songs.

My favourite example of that was in a local newsagency that was playing a cover version of Beautiful Under My Tree. Oh that was fun.

I'm hoping they use the same cd this year at Christmas. And I can borrow it :)
