I can see my desk! It's a miracle!

Whoa. My bedroom is not only pretty damn tidy and organised, but I wet-dusted it as I went. It won't stay like this for long, but I'm gonna enjoy it while I lasts :) Got a few things done that I've really needed to, but my to do list still has stuff on it. It's been a non-social weekend, but a productive one.

At the moment, I'm copying all my archive cds and dvds of footage back onto my big harddrive. An Aussie girl has contacted me (via [livejournal.com profile] breny) to get some nsync footage, and when I sent her the List o' Stuff, she said "all of it please".

...That's a lot of files. A lot "". But I'm gonna take the opportunity to consolidate some of the stuff that's scattered on cds onto dvds, and I'll try and get things a bit more organised. And then hopefully I can make a new up-to-date list of what I have.

My favourite typo of the week - "Can anyone confirm this indefinitely."
(from the BSB Hub list, regarding whether their Behind the Music is premiering this weekend, which it isn't, by the way).

I uploaded this for a request on [livejournal.com profile] popmediafinders.

Do you happen to know when it is going to be on?

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2005-01-23 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
As far as I kow, it's been rescheduled to an undecided date (ie probably around the time of the first single or album).

I don't envy you your organising and burning job with all your files. Good luck with that!

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2005-01-24 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
I've got all but a couple of dvds of BSB stuff onto the computer now. My Pop folders (Nsync, BSB, little bit of other stuff) are now at about 70 gig.

...

Some of that is duplicates (same appearances in mpegs and avis that I've made) and simply duplicate files, but still, this is gonna take a while *g*.

So, you are doing all this organizing and burning work? While you're it, could you burn copies for me, too? I could pay you for the discs via paypal.

I'm in need for "all" the footage too (minus the Nsyncland stuff), since I transfered all my files to my sister for her to burn them, and then her computer died. Rehearsals, interviews, unedited footages, JC and Chris live concert footages, commercials, MTV extras, Lion sleeps tonight video.. All down the drain. :(

Please contact me if you are interested in helping me too, and tell me how much the discs, shipping etc. of "All of it" would be, or send me a list if you want. My mail is emmuzka (at) netscape.net

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2005-01-24 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
That should be no problem :) It's gonna take me a bit to organise the files, so if I haven't sent you an updated list of what I have within a week or so, remind me (I may need reminding, I have a bunch of different things going on at the moment *g*). Blank dvds are about $2 each, and postage will depend on how many you want (postage for three discs is about $8). That's in Australian dollars.

DUDE. We tried Ultimate Dance Dance last night! Except it kinda fizzled out, because we all sat down and just watched instead! But it was good times. :)

I have a similar task ahead of me re: the burning and organizing. Last night whilst preparing for Ultimate Dance Dance, I offered all my NSYNC remixes to my friends. I have 9 CDs of remixes. I told them I'd organize them. The songs on the CDs aren't organized. Why? Why why? I feel your pain.

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2005-01-24 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Heee, the first rule is: NEVER VOLUNTEER OR OFFER ;) How are you going to organise them, group them by song?

[identity profile] callsigns.livejournal.com 2005-01-24 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
I have NO IDEA. I don't even know what they're called, what the names of the remixes are. Right now, it looks like this:

Tearin' Up My Heart: mild techno beat until end of first chorus, then synth strings, return to beat in JC's verse, keyboard chords in his verse, step up of drums, techno drum breakdown before bridge, cuts off @ "You're the one I want."

Promises to be a project of MUCH FUN. !!! I'm going to try by song, but I have no clue. Whee!

Erilyn,
awww......I'm sorry for causing you all that work. I have that BSB tape all packaged up and will be mailing it after work today. Hope that redeems me :)

Bren

If there was anything to redeem (which there isn't *g*), that would do it, thanks! :)

Doing this copying for her is good motivation to get my stuff organised better.
