The Randomness that is I

A friend of mine has started an interesting new site, Pyxis Review, news and issues and other interesting stuff, from around the world. Good stuff, y'all should check it out.

Baker's Delight has choc-chip Blasphemous Buns (tm [livejournal.com profile] iibnf, aka Hot Cross Buns). Pretty nice :)

I just spent a chunk of money on clothes (skirt, pants, two tops). Then another chunk of money at Amazon (and more than I'd originally planned, as I pointed out to myself "hey, that's still less than you'd pay for Australian version of WW"). And I owe [livejournal.com profile] hnix for my ticket to Pink(!!!! *smooch*). Someone come and take my credit card away, cause while I do have the savings to pay for these things, stupid credit card does make it that much easier to spend it quickly *g*. Eeek, and I've got to get my hair done soon. Must stop spending money. But I'm going jeans shopping this afternoon. I need new jeans, I can pull my old ones off without undoing them.

In other news, I played JC in the car when I went shopping with my sister. She didn't hate it.

ETA: Brian Kinney is a truly fascinating character. Loved last night's QAF.

Hey, next time you're working in, um, that suburb - where two other people that we know also work - on a Monday or a Friday, we should have lunch! Because that would be good.

That had nothing to do with your post. Hmm. 1. I also need new jeans, 2. I am intrigued by the idea of choc-chip hot cross buns, because I loathe sultanas. (Is that another food quirk we share?)

Re:

I like sultanas on their own, but pick them out of other things (or avoid altogether). Cause they're all squishy and wrong inside things. You should try the buns, yummy.

Lunch would be good sometime. I worked there the last three weeks (but not now), but tended to take short lunches. What days/hours do you have stuff? Just Monday and Friday?

I just added another thing to my post. If you make any QAF icons, I'd love a Brian, or Brian/Justin one *hopeful look*.

Yes, exactly! Bad and wrong, yet on their own, yum. We really need to stop sharing a brain tastebuds like this.

Yep. Monday I start at 2, Friday I finish at 1.

Oh, definitely. I have many, both finished and in some stage of completion. Yay QAF! I <3 s3! Wheeee! Did you want any sparkly icons, or are you all stocked up? I have some in two other fandoms finished for you, a couple of which I'm finding very amusing and hopefully you will too. *g*

Where would be the fun in that?

Sparkly icons? I'd love some more pairing icons, particularly BSB pairings. I've got timbertrick and honi in my current lineup, but no others. And a Christina icon. And a Pink icon. And...that's probably enough to ask for ;)

I like sultanas, but loathe raisins. Icky. And they spread.

Still... not as evil as capsicum, which is the devil's scrotum.

Re:

Ugh, I'm not a fan of raisins either. Nothing wrong with capsicum though! ;p

Little G gets me to put raw capsicum in her lunch box.

Strange child.

Your child feasts on the scrotum of SATAN!

I also need new jeans

I just got a nice, normal (ie boring) pair of mid-blue jeans from Just Jeans, for less than $50! They were one of the cheapest pairs anyway, and then they had 20% off. And I got shoes for work at 20% from DJs! I was on a roll *g*.

Wow, that is impressive! I hope I do that well.

I saw Hanna yesterday. She was with a friend. They looked good together. They should be lesbians because they make such a pretty couple.

I'm all about the blasphemy, but less so about the chocolate chip, so I'll stick with normal blasphemous buns.

::splorfle:: Thanks! I think that's a great idea, personally (because she is indeed very hot), but I don't think I'll pass that along to my friend. *g*

Can you can make your own blasphemous buns now? That fruit loaf you made was yummy :)

Re:

[identity profile] iibnf.livejournal.com 2004-02-24 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I have a recipe for blasphemous buns now, but the fruit loaf is so similar, I'd probably just stick with that. I can always make a fruit loaf, then declare it the anti christ.

You could hold a little ceremony to excommunicate it! Then eat it as punishment for it's sins!

Nail it to the door of the vatican with a bull!

Hmmm. Then we have something in common. Is it into blind dates?

I could always poke its eyes out...

Hee!

That might work.

(Looks in mirror)

Your friend, yadda yadda

Last night's QAF was teh hawt. Brian was wonderful.

[identity profile] erilyn.livejournal.com 2004-02-24 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
He's just so...Brian. I love watching him do his thing *g*. And when he gets confronted with an moral or ethical dilemma, it's actually interesting to watch, unlike on most shows.

And I get to use my brand new Brian icon (from [livejournal.com profile] hnix for the first time! *g*
