Glee 2x11

Not enough Kurt. I'm officially OVER Dalton, and want Kurt back at WMHS, mostly cause Chris Colfer should have been out on that field doing Thriller (which was pretty entertaining, but too short), not watching from the stands. Just wrong.

I found it a thorougly enjoyable episode. Lots of good one-liners from Sue, fun performance numbers, the girls kicking ass (OMG MARRY ME, LAUREN ZIZES!) and Bieste making Schue likable through the power of her AWESOMENESS.

Honestly, I'm kinda bummed that we never got to see Brit shot out of a cannon. Rachel, Kurt and Mercedes (and Blaine) hanging out was adorable. Yay, friendships!

Glancing at post-ep discussions and peoples' reactions, I'm again reminded why spoiler-free is the way to be.

You know, I'm constantly surprised by the things that throw people about this show (like quibbling over how the penniless Glee club could stage something like the Singing in the Rain/Umbrella number, complete with water on the stage), that don't bother me. But do you know what makes me pause the show and yell at the tv? KURT ISN'T BOARDING AT DALTON. Um, putting aside that this means he's commuting 4-5 hours a day (lol geography), where the hell was he during the Christmas ep? And wow, every fanfic in existance just go jossed by that one line, heh.

Speaking of lack of continuity, KAROFSKY WAS A HOCKEY PLAYER IN SEASON 1.

Oh Glee, even when I enjoy an episode, I'm stilling yelling excessively at the tv.

BUT HE HAD TO GO (and give Finn warm milk, apparently).

I'm actually really really close to giving it up because there is only so much I can take. There isn't much left in Glee for me to cheer about. Even the songs have no effect because the music production is DIRE.

Mr Schue didn't make me want to throw things at the screen very much? Coach Bieste is awesome? Lauren bringing the pain?

It still makes me laugh, and I'm still hooked by Kurt, so I'm not going anywhere (yet).

MAYBE KURT JUST ISN'T BOARDING FOR NOW. lol.

I am impressed you go spoiler free, I can't manage that at all I would explode.

I stay as spoiler-free as possible, which given that people in comms/forums that I check out don't regard songs as spoilers, isn't always as much as I'd like. That's the price I pay for being involved in the fandom. But I never listen to the songs or watch previews, and manage to avoid a lot of plot spoilers :)

They need to give Lauren more lines, because she is clearly going to be awesome. I really enjoyed Sue throwing a temper tantrum and Bieste's general AWESOME and ia so much about needing Kurt back.

A lot of us have a new head!canon that Kurt boards during the week, and goes home on weekends.

It's the only way we can make sense of it.

Making sense of Glee is like making sense of one of Bieste's sayings, but that's probably the only middle ground that makes any sense.

FREE KURT! I cannot deal with god only knows how many more eps of him being isolated from the rest of the show.

I think there's a lesson in that for all of us.

Also, HI ONSLO THE DONKEY!

It reminded me of how entranced we were with Donkey in the first Shrek film.

Also, Happy Birthday! Tried to call, but you know....
