But West Wing didn't (finally)
A good episode of WW! This is the first really memorable ep
since Manchester. An outstanding performance from John Spencer, with good support from Martin Sheen and Brad Whitford. CJ and Toby have a had a fair bit to do this season, so their absences didn't bug me, and I was glad to see that while Sam wasn't in it a lot, it was actually related to the main plot. I don't mind seeing more or less of people when it makes sense in the episode. But possibly best of all...
Flashbacks! I've been annoyingly fixated on getting more campaign
flashbacks since ITSOTG, so thank you Aaron Sorkin for feeding my
obsession. However, I already want more now :)
Fascinating to still see how late in the primaries Bartlet still wasn't seeing himself as a serious contender, that he'd be gone after Super Tuesday. Yay for Tim Matheson, always great as Hoynes.
Most disturbing thing: I briefly wondered where the gang's campaign
tshirts were when the flashback started, then remembered that the
tshirts are from a story I haven't written, not the show. That's worrying.
